Could Media Molecule Be Making LittleBigPlanet 3D with Morpheus?

We recently covered Media Molecule possibly making LittleBigPlanet 3, but could 3D VR support be on its way to the game? We gathered some new information as to why we believe that this is possible.

There was an interesting Twitter conversation going on recently between Shuhei Yoshida of Sony, and Alex Evans of Media Molecule, among other developers. The main part of the conversation that caught our eye is below.

Alex Evans is for those who don’t know, is the co-founder of Media Molecule. They are the developers known for the PlayStation 3′s title, LittleBigPlanet, and popular PS Vita title, Tearaway.

It’s great to see that the team behind “Play, Create, Share” have their hands on the creative technology that Project Morpheus offers. Seeing as Media Molecule are already semi-used to using the PlayStation Move for development (their PS4 tech demo is a prime example), working with VR tech should be that much easier. From what’s been shown to the public, players must use PlayStation Move controllers as a way to further interact with games (holding shields, swords, sack people, etc). If Media Molecule are indeed working on LittleBigPlanet 3, then adding VR support would be a step in the right direction.
