Fan Made Mega Man 2.5D Beta Released
If you’re a fan of Mega Man, I highly suggest you take a look at this one of a kind fan made game that looks incredibly promising and won’t disappoint. Click now to find out more!
While drifting through the world of YouTube, I happened to stumble across a video that really caught my attention. Now I’m pretty sure everyone has seen plenty of fan made Mega Man games, but this one just takes the cake. This iteration of Mega Man contains it’s own score that resembles the feel from the original games. The stages don’t look like someone just said “Hey this looks challenging, let’s put a random giant block with fire coming out of it so it looks good!” Another great addition is that it contains a co-op mode that really makes it stand out from the rest.
Here’s the trailer from Peter Sjostrand’s YouTube channel.
The games designer, Peter Sjostrand, programmer, Edgar Cebolledo, and their team over at petersjostrand.com, have been developing this game for a few years now, while releasing trailers and smaller versions here and there.
Mega Man 2.5D is a fan game by and for fans of the blue bomber. It started out as an animated concept in 2009. Later, we started development on an actual playable version. The main thing that sets Mega Man 2.5D apart from the original Mega Man games is the co-op mechanic, as well as changing camera perspectives.
The beta was released 2013-11-01 and features one playable co-op stage, Shadow Man’s stage. We hope to keep building on the game, adding more stages, modes and other content.
The beta does NOT feature a single-player mode, this will however be available in the next release.

This beta looks tremendous so if you’re a big fan of the legendary Blue Bomber, then take the time to play it and hopefully we see even more from these guys in the near future!
